Meet founding Board Member, Maghan Campbell

Maghan Campbell, founding Providence family and active board member, was one of many individuals with whom the Lord began developing a heart for Providence School of Tifton long before the doors were opened. The summer of 2019, the Lord connected Maghan and Victoria Harris with a small group of other driven believers who shared the same vision!  The summer months were dedicated to the formulating the mission, vision, and legal documentation to begin a school.  By August, the certainty of Providence was enough for the Campbell Family to pull their kids from public school.  As the founding group of women continued to work though the logistical details, Mrs. Harris endeavored to finalize a curriculum plan for the variousgrade levels. Homeschooling her own children and the Campbell boys that year served as a “trial run” for what would ultimately be a brick-and-mortar, fully accredited school. Praise the Lord!

Maghan serves as the Marketing liaison for the ministry which mirrors her full-time position at South Georgia Banking Company as the Director of Marketing Communications. Married nineteen years to Jeremy Campbell, they have three children: Norah, Calvin, and Miles.  The family strives for authentic connection in the community, serving aslocal advocates, teen mentors, foster, and adoptive parents.

Maghan is also a founding board member, and vice chairman, for Called to Care, Inc., a foster care ministry established in 2014 that now services 22 counties in the state of Georgia.

The Campbell family attend First Baptist Church of Tifton where Maghan has served on a variety of committees, including the lead design role for construction of the contemporary Worship Center which was completed in 2019.

Maghan maintains a personal mantra to “stand up for what’s right, fight for those who can’t, and speak truth even when your voice shakes.” Her desire to see Jesus Christ in all the details of life aligns beautifully with the heart of our school.
