Providence understands the great responsibility that teachers have of training the mind and soul of tomorrow. We are actively searching for teachers who are hungry, humble, and smart. Our teachers are set apart in their education and continued pursuit of the good, true, and beautiful. We train our teachers from the ground up in classical Christian education, including:
- Subject and teacher-specific annual training at Repairing the Ruins, an international conference hosted by the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS). The ACCS also holds Providence’s membership and provides accreditation for classical Christian schools (June 17-19).
- Trauma-informed and Equipping Minds professional development training by Education Specialists, Ann Maura Hinton, of Lifeline Children’s Services.
- Core training in the Foundations of Classical Christian Excellence (FCCE), which prepares each teacher to obtain Level 1 Certification as a classical educator.
Full-time teachers at Providence are offered a salary, retirement benefits, up to 90% tuition discounts, ongoing professional development training, and parent volunteers as classroom assistants.
Part-time teachers receive resources, professional development training, and an hourly pay rate.
All families, including faculty and staff, are encouraged to apply for our “Flexible Tuition Plan,” which allows families to pay tuition based on what they can afford. Flexible Tuition amounts are determined by FACTS, our third party assessment company, and can only be completed after the application process is underway.
