Evelyn Faith Powell has a life long desire for learning and sharing the knowledge which she has gained. After completing her undergraduate education at Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College, she continued her education as a medical student at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Mrs. Powell is very involved in the local Church and volunteers as a Young Life Leader. Her greatest priority is worshiping the Lord by loving Him and obeying His commands. She is thankful for the opportunities she has in this unique season of life to help families disciple well, shaping their children’s affections for what is true, good, and beautiful.
One of her favorite scriptures is Matthew 22:37-40 “Jesus said ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment.And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Mrs. Powell currently serves Providence as a the Board secretary, substitute teacher, and as a speaker for various events.
